My trip to Black Belt at 50... and beyond!

My life took a funny turn four years ago...into a dojo! I took my son to karate and found that I didn't like being a spectator. I'm now wearing a black belt. I'm at Steve Lavallees Karate School, Ft Lauderdale NTC dojo. I started this blog to help remember my kata (they're on video, look down the left column). I also share my thoughts on the dojo and beyond. Thanks for visiting, please leave a comment behind. About BBat50.

Olympic Martial Arts

Its only in the last few years that I'm into the martial arts. Here's a very basic question: What martial arts are there in the Olympics? I remember boxing but are there others? I seem to vaguely remember judo and wrestling and taekwondo.

Digg!
